Current Projects

• Synthetic Clinical Trials Using Digital Data: This research program involves statistical designs which combine cohorts who volunteered for an experimental therapy (treatment group) with a synthetically generated control group of patients found in real world data. Adjustment for lack of randomization is necessary to prevent misleading comparisons when patients exposed to the treatment group differ systematically from observed data.
• Heart Arrhythmia Detection Using Wearable Technology: This research program involves anomaly detection using bio-signals derived from wearable devices.
